About Rob Hedrick
Offering a rare blend of creative and intellectual strengths, Rob has made himself a valuable member of whatever team he is
a part of. He quickly becomes the "go to" guy on any project he works on. Rob was the architect for the technology that streams live video
while driving down the road. Former employers have always referred to him as their MacGuyver, solving problems quickly with limited resources.
Rob presents solutions in a strategic manner and solves problems quickly. As a project manager he has always presented cutting edge solutions and
designs while following traditional values.
Rob Hedrick moved across the country many times as a child. He got to see all of the beauty our country has to
offer.
Early in life it was apparent that he had strong creative
abilities. Rob explored art, design and theater. While
attending school in Tennessee he learned of his love of
theater and design. As Rob grew as a young designer he
began to focus on lighting and film.
Rob is currently working in Oklahoma City on the special
projects team at the ABC Affiliate. His day-to-day
responsibilities include researching and shooting creatively
planned stories, and interviews. Operating a microwave live
truck he built into a Ford Explorer, media management of a
broadcast facility AVID storage system, and ongoing planning
with the engineering department of a broadcast facility for
future proofing their facility.
His recent work can be seen on Good Morning America, ABC News, CNN, the
Discovery Channel and KOCO Television. Some of the events Rob has covered
recently include the Tornadoes, Oklahoma Wildfires, Hurricane Katrina, and
numerous human interest stories.
